1. Check the RavaPay transaction status first
The transaction status is the most important check. A payment can be received while the electricity vending request is still being processed by the service provider.
If the status is pending or processing, avoid paying again for the same meter. Wait for the transaction to reach a final status or use the available RavaPay transaction support or recovery options.
2. If the vend is successful, check all token delivery channels
When a prepaid electricity vend succeeds, RavaPay displays the token with the transaction result and sends the token by SMS and email.
Check the phone number used for the transaction, then check the email inbox as well as spam or junk folders. Delivery of an SMS or email can occasionally take longer than the vending result itself.
3. Do not make a second payment while the first transaction is pending
Making another payment before the first vend reaches a final status can create two separate electricity purchases if the first transaction later succeeds.
Use the original transaction reference and status when following up on a delayed token.
A missing SMS does not necessarily mean the electricity vend failed. Always check the transaction status.
4. What if the transaction shows failed?
If the transaction reaches a failed status, no successful token should be assumed. Follow the recovery or refund information presented for that transaction rather than repeatedly attempting to load a token that was never successfully vended.
If you retry later, verify the meter details again before making the new payment.
5. What if the transaction shows successful but the token message is missing?
Use the token displayed with the successful RavaPay transaction result. Also check both SMS and email because RavaPay sends the token through both channels after a successful vend.
Keep the transaction reference available if you need support locating the successful vend.
