Places to check for your meter number
Check the label, faceplate or identification area on the physical prepaid meter for a meter or serial number used by your DISCO.
Check a previous electricity token receipt or successful vending record where the meter number was recorded.
Check your DISCO customer account, statement or official customer channel if it displays the registered meter number.
If you use a customer interface unit, consult the meter or DISCO instructions for your specific model rather than guessing a keypad code.
Meter number, account number and token are different
A meter number identifies the electricity meter. A customer or account number identifies an electricity account, especially in postpaid flows. A prepaid token is the value issued after a successful vend for a particular meter.
Do not paste a previous token or transaction reference into the meter-number field. RavaPay verifies the identifier you provide against the selected DISCO before payment.
Verify the meter before paying

Select the DISCO that supplies the property.

Choose Prepaid when you are buying a prepaid meter token.

Enter the complete meter number you found.

Select Verify Meter and compare the returned customer information with the intended account.

Do not continue if the verification result does not match the meter or customer you intend to pay for.
What if you cannot identify the correct meter number?
Use the official support channel for your DISCO and provide the information they request to identify the meter. Avoid trying several unrelated numbers at checkout because a successful verification should correspond to the intended electricity account.
